I guess in order to rock the awards on my blog I better play along with the rules and that is to list 7 things about myself that you may not know. I tell you guys a lot so this is going to be hard to come up with. I figured I’d go with random thoughts because I’m a pretty random girl and I’m feeling a little bit random today.

1. I heart lists: I make them for everything. I love making a to do list and then crossing the items off. I make lists on my blackberry, on my igoogle, and then I take to pen and paper and write the lists down. OCD much?

2.  My lists aren’t usually all that important. Sometimes it’s groceries, sometimes it’s a wishlist, or a list of trips I want to take, like staying in one of obx vacation rentals in North Carolina.

3. I watch old episodes of Newlyweds-Nick & Jessica and wish they were still together. There was something so sweet and silly about that show.

4. I fell asleep during my bridal pedicure and woke myself up because I started to snore. I jerked my foot and almost kicked my pedicurist in the face. I haven’t been back to that place since.

5. When I get nervous I shake like a chihuahua. Luckily I don’t get nervous that often but when I do, I go all out.

6. I think Facebook should be outlawed for family members. I have very obnoxious and embarrassing aunts and a Grandma on facebook so I have to be careful of anything I post. Also they like to air our family drama. There should be a law against it.

7. If I were rich, the first thing I’d get is a personal shopper. I loathe clothes shopping but I adore cute outfits that compliment my body type. I want someone to shop for me, bring the clothes to my house and then tell me how to put the outfits together. Wouldn’t that be amazing? PS it’s ironic that I got the Stylish blogger award because in real life I’m so clueless when it comes to style!

I can tell Michael’s mood by which comedy routine he chooses to do. The more infantile, the more upset he is. And he just skipped the Ace Ventura talking butt thing. He never skips it. This is bad. -Pam, The Office

It is St. Patrick’s Day, and here in Scranton that is a huge deal. It is the closest that the Irish will ever get to Christmas. -Michael, The Office

Saturday night was the St. Patty’s Day/Lax Guy’s Birthday Party and while a lot more low key than Match’s Bday, still a lot of fun.

I think one of the greatest things about modern America is the computerization of medical records. As a volunteer sheriff I can look up anyone’s psychiatric records or surgical histories. Yeast infections… there are a huge number of yeast infections in this county. Probably because we’re downriver from that old bread factory… -Dwight, The Office

I don’t think I’ve mentioned to you all yet, but Match has been going through the interviewing process to become a sheriff. I have to say, I think he’d be great at it. He wants to do some sort of public service, and I think he’d make a very good sheriff. The hours would be tough, but no worse than his current graveyard shift. And this would be a career not just a temporary job. So far he’s gone through a physical test, an interview, and yesterday, the polygraph. (more…)

He proposed on a Valentine’s Day, although he didn’t do it face to face, he did it in one of the little Valentine bits in the paper. I think he had to pay for it by the word, because it just said “Lee love Dawn, marriage?” which you know, I like, because it’s not often you get to something that’s both romantic and thrifty. -Dawn, The Office

I can’t believe how fast January has gone by. It’s almost February, which means both Match’s birthday and Valentine’s Day are coming up. With Match still being out of work, any sort of gift giving event has become a sore subject. I want to do something nice for him, but I also don’t want him to feel guilty. We thought he’d have started his new job by now, but they’re really giving him the run around. Three weeks for a background check just to be a security guard/EMT? WTF?! Grrr….anyways… (more…)
