Spontaneous Snow and Daydreaming of Camping

I can’t believe it snowed today! We’ve had such weird weather. A couple weeks ago the sun was shining and it felt like spring was here. We had some light snow on Sunday, and Piglet and I made the tiniest little snow family you ever saw.

While I do love the snow, I am already daydreaming of spring, camping, and all things outdoors. This year we’ve booked quite a few days already. Our first is in March, where we’re going to be yurt camping on the coast! We’ve never camped in a yurt before. It should be a fun experience. Piglet is at this great age where he’s so excited for all things outdoors and adventures.

Brenda: We will.
Cindy: And be sure to head back to the camp well before dark!
Brenda: We will.
Cindy: And make sure those boys stay on top of you…when you’re hiking, that is.                                                                              –Beverly Hills, 90210

As I’ve mentioned before, Match and I are slowly getting to know a new group of friends. Couple Friends are a part of the group, along with Drama Chick and B. They’re a fun bunch, and the group mostly consists of couples, which is nice for us. We hung out a lot with one of these couples on Prom Night. It turns out they love going hiking and doing outdoor stuff as much as we do, so I’ve nicknamed them Outdoor Couple. Continue reading Hiking With Outdoor Couple

SPT- Bringing the Indoors Outdoors For Summer

Samantha: [At a BBQ] Who wants a weiner?
Transexual: Girl, I’m trying to get rid of one! –Sex and the City

Match and I have done a good job of this living vicariously through his parents. We’ve managed to have weekend meals up there almost every weekend these past few weeks, and we always sit outside. img_5022

(when I posted this pic on Facebook, Drama Chick pointed out that the weenies were very large, haha. I hadn’t even realized!)

Just wait till they get their new lounge chairs. They will have to pry me out and drag me to the car kicking and screaming. 😉 I can’t wait till we get our own house and we can start picking out our very own patio furniture. Till then, I’m happy to steal theirs.
