Match’s Fire Academy Graduation

Phoebe: Come on, you and Greg? Put out any fires lately?
Piper: Is that supposed to be a subtle fireman reference?
Paige: Wait a minute. You’re going out with a fire-fighter?
-Charmed

Today Match officially graduated from the fire academy. He’s now a fireman, and I’m so unbelievably proud of him. I got really dressed up for his graduation, because I wanted him to be proud to have me on his arm. I was excited because the last two weeks of the gym have really paid off. And I didn’t even have to take diet pills to do it! Woohoo! I think it paid off because I got a few looks when I walked past the recruits into the auditorium. After the ceremony Match couldn’t stop kissing me and beaming at me. What We Need to Be Happy

Everyone wants stuff. We wake up everyday with a list of wishes a mile long and maybe we spend our lives trying to make those wishes come true. But just because we want them doesn’t mean we need them to be happy. -Ned, Pushing Daisies

Match’s Practical Exam

I’m don’t think he got more than 5 hours of sleep. Second, tonight is my company’s Christmas party. We are heading to San Francisco tonight for dinner followed by drinks and karaoke with my coworkers. I have never brought a boyfriend to an office party before, so I’m really looking forward to the party. The only thing that scares me is if things don’t go well with Match’s exam. But I know that’s not going to happen. He’s worked so hard for this, and I know he’s going to do even better than he hopes. (more…)
