Before I start, I just wanna say that I have a cold, so if I sneeze in the middle of a song, it’s not on purpose. Oh, except the last verse of “Pepper people.” -Phoebe, Friends
I got my first cold of the season (woohoo) so I know it’s Fall, even though the weather is still in the high 90s. Call me crazy but I am so ready for Fall weather. Autumn is my favorite season, and I feel like Summer is taking its sweet ass time leaving! I know, who complains about sun? But here’s just a few things I love about the Fall season:
1. The clothes: I have adorable fall clothes. I love big sweaters, and cute boots, not to mention the different jackets to go with them. I miss jeans instead of capris, and I’m over summer dresses.
2. The coziness: When it’s 90 degrees outside, the last thing I want to do is cuddle. But when it’s cold and crisp, there is nothing better than snuggling up under a blanket with your special someone and “canoodling” over a cup of hot cocoa or cider.
3. The leaves: Autumn is so beautiful! All the reds, browns, oranges and yellows! Especially on the vineyards, they are so pretty.
4. The air: I love the cold crisp air. Summer air is just stagnant and smelly after awhile. Fall smells like earth and freshness to me. Yum!
I think another reason I’m ready for the summer to be over is so I can get motivated to go work out again. When it’s this hot out, the last thing I want to do is go sweat more. I know, I know, it should motivate me to drop some weight (less body fat = less WARM!) but you know what I mean right? It’s miserable working out and then getting back into a hot car, to go home to an even hotter apartment, bleck. At least one great thing about this cold of mine is that it’s like taking one of the top diet pills, the way it’s suppressed my appetite. Plus who wants to cook in this heat? I’ve actually been craving salad!
So what about you guys? What’s your favorite season and why?
