We Want to Know Wednesday-You’re a SillyFace

Beast Boy: Kids are easy! All you have to do is make silly faces. Oh, and kids love jokes. This one never fails. Okay, why did the cookie go to the doctor?
Raven: …

Beast Boy: You’re supposed to ask why.

Raven: …Why?

Beast Boy: He went because he was feeling a little crummy! Ha, ha, ha! Get it?

Raven: …I guess I’m on my own. –Teen Titans

{1} If you could spend a day with a blogger, who you haven’t met in real life, who would you choose? Hands down Impulsive Addict. We’ve already got go visit each other savings funds. It’s happening. And it’s going to be EPIC. If any of you would like to join us, feel free. Just know there will be copious amounts of drinking and silliness. You’ve been warned!
{2} What website do you check first when you go online? I always go to swagbucks.com because I’m trying to earn extra money. From there I usually check facebook or my email.
{3} What is something you are saving money for right now? A house!! I cannot even tell you how excited we are to find something.
{4} What is your go to silly face when a silly face is needed? (post a pic of it and be entered to win a prize from Mamarazzi)

Just like Britney Spears, I’ve been sticking my tongue out for as far back as I can remember.

{5} How do you relieve stress? I usually exercise or clean, or both, depending on how stressed I am. If I’ve had a really bad day I’ll take Monkey for a run and then clean the whole house. If Match finds me in the kitchen scrubbing away like a mad woman, looking like I need to be in the nut house wearing a Marcus lab coat, chances are something is stressing me out.

We Want to Know Wednesday-My Theme Song

If you ever get your own TV show, promise me you will never change the theme song. –Monk

{1} Who would you call if you had to get bailed out of jail?

Wouldn’t that be ironic? Especially since my hubby works as a Deputy Sheriff at the jail. I would say him, but if I landed my booty in jail he’d probably make me stay there overnight to teach me a lesson! 😉

{2} If you were a superhero what would your hero name be?

Ha, well Match likes to call me the Littlest Amazon because I’m short but I’m powerful. So maybe that would be my superhero name.

{3} What do you think is one of your best qualities?

My ability to see the positive in most situations. I tend to not let things get me down for long. I’ll allow myself to be sad for a minute, and then I shake it off. Life’s too short to not be happy!

{4} What song would you pick to be your own personal theme song?

Drop it Like it’s Hot, but only because Sassy Guy says this commercial reminds him of me. He says I’m a goober like the girl on it. Cracks me up every single time I watch it.

{5} What celebrity do you think is most over rated?

Any and all celebrities that are famous simply because they are famous, ie Paris Hilton and those Kardashian idiots

We Want to Know Wednesday-Extra Cash

Johnny is driving limos part time for some extra cash. It’s great, when he’s off duty we get to play ‘easy prom date.’-Sharon, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place

{1} What would you do with an extra $1000 a month? Match and I are actually saving up for a down payment and an extra grand a month would get us there a lot faster. I would also buy a smartphone. I’m going through major withdrawals without my crackberry, but I just can’t justify the expense right now. Sigh…

{2} What category of blogger do you think you best fall under? I actually have no idea. Um, personal diary category? I guess newlywed category as well?
{3} What is your go to solution when you are having a bad hair day? I hate the way my hair looks in a ponytail, so I generally just wear it down when I’m out. I attack it with a hair dryer when it’s misbehaving and that usually helps. At home I rock the ponytail bun most of the time. I like to think it’s that lazy sexy librarian look.
{4} If you were a Crayon, what color would you be? I have no clue, sorry this question is kind of silly. Um…I love the color blue but that probably doesn’t represent my personality. In my home decorating I gravitate towards earth tones, and in my clothing I wear a lot of blacks. Go ahead, analyze!
{5} They say love is in the little things. What is a little thing someone does to show you love? Match does this slightly annoying but mostly endearing thing where he’ll choose to cuddle me and be super affectionate when I’m right in the middle of something. For example cooking dinner or walking to the sink to do a dish. He’ll grab me around the waist and hug me and I end up having to drag him around the kitchen. As much as it annoys me in the moment, we both can’t help but laugh when I end up pulling him around trying to do work with this grown man attached to me that’s twice my size!

We Want to Know Wednesday-Perfect for Me

A person doesn’t have to be perfect to be exactly what you need. -Elliot, Scrubs

{1} Which activities make you lose track of time?
Playing Call of Duty with Match. It’s crazy how fast you can piddle away 3 hours playing that damn game.

{2} Is there such a thing as perfect? Nope. But there is perfect for me, or perfect for someone. Such as Match, he is in no way perfect, but he’s exactly the right person for me. Just like I’m perfect for him, flaws and all. I don’t think I could stand being with someone who was perfect. I’d feel like I’d have to constantly measure up. Does that make sense?

{3} When do you feel most like yourself?
That’s a really tough question. I feel like there are different versions of me. There’s the outgoing me, who feels most at home in the middle of a fun party, hanging out with The Group and playing a rousing game of Community Cup and generally being the life and loudest of the party.

Then there’s the homebody me, snuggled up with Match in my pj-jays on the couch, sipping wine and relaxing and having a mellow night. Both are equally me.

{4} Describe your life in a 6 word sentence: How did I get so lucky?

{5} Share one of your most beloved childhood memories: One that stands out for me is when we moved in with my stepdad, my Popa. I think it was our first Easter together, I’m not sure. I was pretty young, maybe 4? I just remember waking up and finding a brand new radio flyer wagon in the living room, and it was just for me! It was from my Popa. My pops, who went from being a terminal bachelor to being an instant dad when he started dating my mom, has always been such a kind and generous man. I know a lot of people complain about stepparents, but my Pops has been more of a father to my brother and me than my real dad ever was. I’m so happy to have such a great Pops!

We Want to Know Wednesday-Come Visit Cali

Penny: [about going with the others to a science conference including a spa treatment] Boy, this is great. I haven’t had a vacation in ages!
Sheldon: In order to take a vacation, one first has to work.
Penny: You know, for a smart guy, you really seem to have a hard time grasping the concept “Don’t piss off the people who handle the things you eat”. [leaves]
Amy: That does seem to be a valid principle.
Sheldon: [waves her off] I trust Penny will adhere to the official California Restaurant Worker’s Solemn Oath of Ethics and Cleanliness.
Amy: I don’t believe there’s any such thing.
Sheldon: [to Leonard] You lied to me? –The Big Bang Theory

I am enjoying the heck out of this week and Match and I having absolutely no big plans. After such a hectic last week, curling up on the couch is heaven! I’m relaxing and catching up on blogging. Now it’s time for:

This week’s questions were brought to you by my bloggy pal Impulsive Addict. Go visit her and prepare to laugh a lot.
Question #4 is from Amber and Nadine
Question #5 is from Vandy

1. What was the last thing you searched for online? You mean besides internet pron? I kid I kid. Actually I have been researching places to stay in Ashland, OR for a little honeymoon/first anniversary getaway with Match at the end of August! I’m hoping to stay in a nice hotel, visit the beautiful Lithia Park, maybe see a Shakespeare play and watch my cousin in one of his first college concerts. Should be fun!

2. If we visit your home state, what is one MUST we should do before leaving? Visit Sonoma County and the “wine country”. While there are definitely some pretentious tools and some overrated wineries you might want to avoid, it really is beautiful, even if you don’t like wine. And the restaurants are incredible! I have found very few that rival the quality of the food found there. Just promise to let me know when you visit so we can go wine and food tasting together!

3. What do you think pharmaceutical companies should invent a pill for that isn’t on the market yet?
Ugh. First of all I hate pharmaceutical companies and the rampant overuse of prescription drugs in this country. How about a pill that motivates people to get off their lazy duffs and go for a walk? Get some fresh air? Maybe crave a nice salad? 😉 Might work better than always looking for the next safest diet pills that work.

4. When was your first kiss? Was it good or bad? Ha, my first kiss was in 7th grade, I was 12, and it was behind the gym. Very stereotypical. Except the guy put his tongue down my throat and I thought it felt like a slug. It was disgusting! Oh and he had a girlfriend and I didn’t know it so that caused some drama! Gotta love middle school.

5. What is your guilty pleasure tv show that you can not miss? I am a sitcom junkie. I guess one that’s kind of embarrassing is Big Bang Theory because I’m a total science nerd. That Sheldon cracks me up.
