Cristina: Why can’t you mind your own business, you know? What is your problem?
Meredith: You’re my sister. You’re my family. -Grey’s Anatomy
I can’t believe that it actually happened. Coast Sister got on a plane, and flew to my coast! Match and I decided to surprise her at the gate at the San Francisco airport. We were both so giddy that we started kind of jumping up and down and she yelled, Ahhhh!!! We must have looked ridiculous. I think both of us thought it would be a little bit awkward, just because we hadn’t seen each other in person since 2007, but it was as if I just saw her yesterday. The funny thing was, it was that comfortable for Match too. They both started joking around from the minute they met. Continue reading Coast Sisters Reunited→
Kitty: Picture yourself on a beautiful beach with a dolphin and a margarita…
Rob: What are you wearing?
Kitty: This is not that kind of massage.
Rob: Well, that’s disappointing.

Yesterday Match and I had Old Married Couple over for dinner and to hang at our new apartment. They were telling us about their upcoming trip to Cancun that they’re taking, to an all inclusive couples only resort. I’m pretty sure Match and I just starred at them drooling. How great would that be?? Continue reading Dreaming of a Beachside Vacation→
Chief Wiggum: Hey, I just heard about it over the squawk box. That’s some nice work, Simpson.
Homer: Yes, it is nice work.
Apu: Oh, Homer. I just heard about the little bundle of joy.
Homer: It’s true, the bundle is little, but I’m not in it for the money.
Moe: Hey Homer, way to get Marge pregnant!
Homer: This is becoming very abstract, but thank you, I do enjoy working at the bowling alley! –The Simpsons
This week has been super busy at work. I guess it’s the mad rush at the end of the year before the holidays. I was so happy when Friday finally came and we could have some much needed fun. This week Match finished his final exam, and finally completed his fire academy, yay! The only thing left is his live fire, which is today. Continue reading Bowling Night→

Last night Match, his sister, and I went out for burgers and beer at one of the local breweries in town. It was a nice evening, pretty laid back, and chance to get to know Match Sister better. We’re planning to have a small house party at our new place next month, maybe just a game night with Match Sister, Couple Friends, Nice Guy, Birthday Twin, and Old Married Couple. I can’t wait till we’re all moved into the house and finally have the room for everyone to hang out. What’s nice about moving in with Brazil is she’s already friends with Old Married Couple, and she gets along with new people easily.
In some ways we grow up. We have families, we get married, divorced, but for the most part, we still have the same problems that we did when we were fifteen. No matter how much we grow taller, grow older, we are still forever stumbling, forever wondering, forever young. -Meredith, Grey’s Anatomy
Friday night Match and I went to the city, and it was such a blast! We got to see my old friend Bambino, a friend from college that I’ve known for a little over 5 years. Just like I promised Match, they got along great. I loved Bambino’s place because it was one of those bar/restaurant’s that makes you feel like family. We sat at the bar and ate our food while Bambi mixed us drinks and chatted it up with us. Another couple came in and sat with us and we all started talking like old friends. I’m really going to miss that place! Bambino got Match pretty buzzed, which I’d warned him about. On the way home he was tickling me and giggling and telling me how much he needed the stress relief.
