5 Typical Ideas for a Girls Night Out

I have been missing my girlfriends back in California, and my girls here too. I’ve been stuck at home with a sick toddler, hubby, and myself, and I’m long overdue for a fun night out. There’s nothing like a night out with the girls to put a smile on your face! It’s always good to have down time with your favorite ladies. When life is busy, it is very easy to neglect friendships and let things slide. If you haven’t been out with your gorgeous girlies for a while, then why not start planning a get-together?

Dancing down the aisle?

A friend who is about to go down the aisle with the man of her dreams is the perfect excuse for a very special night out. A hen party is a great excuse to get dressed up and go out on the town. Lots of ladies now choose a weekend away for their Hen, either abroad or just away from their usual haunts. It’s increasingly common to but also have one at home to accommodate all the people who couldn’t make it. Why not hire some flashy transport to transport you from venue to venue? There’s no need for anyone to drink and drive. There are lots of different options, from limos to hummers or even a party bus rental. If you have lots of guests it’s also a good way of keeping them all together and making sure your group doesn’t drift apart.

Birthday Fun and Games!

Why not try something fun and sociable like bowling? Fire up your competitive friends and have a tournament or just relax and play for fun. Do watch out for the ones who have to win, though, even when it’s meant to be a game…. some people can get quite feisty! You may be of the opinion that bowling’s for kids, but you’d be surprised at how much fun it still is, even for grown ups! The bowling shoes and scoreboards will bring back memories of younger days, so why not get into the spirit and enjoy playing.

Strapped For Cash?

Strapped for cash? Why not the bring the girls night out IN? It’s not too difficult with a bit of imagination to turn your living room into a disco for an evening – some fairy lights and your ipod and you’re all set! If you love nothing more than a delicious cocktail, then here’s a great tip. Get your guests to bring a bottle of each ingredient needed, and then put them all together! You needn’t lose out on any of the fun, and there won’t be a ridiculously long queue for the toilets, either!

Food Glorious Food!

Going for a meal with your girly friends on a night out is great. It also means you don’t have to cook or do the dishes. Now, that’s always a bonus! Try and choose a restaurant that serves the kind of food that will cater for all your friends. When booking meals out it’s always worth to check with everyone for the dietary requirement and allergies. Then do check with the restaurant to make sure they can make sure everyone will be happy!

A Night at The Movies.

Who doesn’t love going to the cinema? There’s something exciting about watching a movie on the giant screen. And the sweets, and ice cream. Choose the VIP seats for extra room and comfort. Do try and book your seats in advance if you all want to be able to sit together! You and your girls deserve a little bit of luxury, after all!

Awww, love your pictures! And I haven’t been to a bachelor (HEN! CUTE!!) party in AGES. I feel like we’ve all been in hibernation mode here, but I’m looking forward to seeing some of my girls soon for a night of Cards Against Humanity and vegan s’mores 🙂 Have you ever played? I haven’t and have heard awesome things!
