This year we were so excited to go trick or treating with Piglet. He picked out his own costume (he insisted on being a puppy) and we knew he would have no trouble saying trick or treating and asking for candy. I sewed some cat ears for myself, and found a tail in my Halloween bin. Match even got into the spirit and rocked my old sheep costume from a few years back.
Sadly, the weather decided not to cooperate. It was an absolute downpour! I was very ‘s we did our costume pictures ahead of time, because my kitty makeup was pretty much oozing down my face in the first five minutes. We braved the weather and went to our downtown Halloween trick or treat event. Even with the bad weather, there were tons of people out and about.
We met up with Adventure Family, snapped a picture of our kiddos, then high tailed it out of there!
Piglet had fun passing out candy to the few trick or treaters who did come by the house. We curled up in blankets next to the fire and watched Halloween cartoons. It was a fun and mellow evening, and so very Oregon. Growing up I can’t remember a year when it didn’t rain on us.
Happy Halloween everyone! How did you celebrate?
