Piglet’s Pool Float

This past Saturday, we stayed the night at my inlaws’ house. I decided I’m not going to blog about the troubles we had with Piglet’s sleep, or the fact that Piglet had to sleep in our room, meaning none of us got any real rest. I’m not going to go into details about how condescending the inlaws were, or their abhorrent lack of help with their grandchild. I’ll just say that by Sunday morning, Match and I had agreed that we will not be staying the night at their place until Piglet gets a little bit older. If ever if you want my opinion on the matter!

Instead of having a big doom and gloom post, I will focus on the positives of the trip, because despite the sleep deprivation and the scathing remarks from MIL, we still had a good time.

We took Piglet on a morning walk with the dogs, and MIL snapped this great family photo of us. Piglet had such a great time exploring!

We also took a swim in the pool, and Piglet got to try out his new pool float from his grandma. It is pretty awesome!

I love that he was able to float and play, and we didn’t have to hold him the whole time. We splashed and played, and had a great time! I am definitely willing to make the drive to visit again, and play in the pool. But this time no sleep overs!!

I’m glad you managed to have a good trip, despite the continued drama with your in-laws. Just how odd it all seems! It looks like Piglet loves the water so much, so adorable in his little float πŸ™‚

So glad I don’t have nasty in-laws. Glad you were able to make the best of it, travelling with a toddler is something else, huh?
