Welp, I blinked and Piglet turned 8 months old on Monday! We are loving this interactive stage that Piglet is in now. He is getting more and more mobile, and pretty soon he’s going to be into EVERYTHING! His latest discovery has been learning how to clap his hands. If we say, “If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands!” he does so with glee. He will also clap his hands when his great auntie chants, “Let’s go Giants!”
His eyes have turned from blue-brown to a sea green, though they still change at times. I have yet to be able to capture them properly in photos. His hair is starting to get lighter, and I think he’ll be a blonde by this summer. He loves to stand up when we hold him, and he’s starting to attempt pulling up, but he’s not quite there yet. He is still a little guy, but he’s developing on track and I’m sure he’ll have a growth spurt eventually.
He is beginning to show some signs of being a Taurus. He can be stubborn when he wants to be! But overall he’s still very mellow, and such a good boy. He loves to give hugs, and he doesn’t hesitate to give out smiles to everyone he meets. He loves flirting, especially with older ladies! We love you so much sweet Piglet. Your easygoing personality has continued to make us look good as parents. You adapt so well to every new situation we introduce you to. When you say mama and dada it melts our hearts. We love hearing your sweet little voice. The way you’re always looking for an excuse to giggle just cracks me up. Our favorite thing to do is lay on the floor and just watch you play. You’re the best form of entertainment there is! We love you, our clapping, waving, creeping, scooting, wiggling, giggling little boy!
