It was hard juggling a baby and our stuff, but we managed. I made friends with the girl next to me, and bought her a drink on the plane for being so helpful with Piglet. He didn’t cry once, and I was so proud of him! He liked looking out the window, and flirted with all the other passengers.
The hardest part of the trip was the 2.5 hour road trip. Piglet decided he no longer likes sleeping in his car seat, and by the halfway mark he was fed up with this traveling business. He was such a trooper, and alternated between laughing and crying til we got to my grandparents’ house.
So far he has been happy, but not quite his usual self. He has been teething like crazy, not to mention over stimulated. Last night I took pity on him and let him sleep in my bed. I didn’t sleep that well, but it was worth it to wake up to this sweet face!
I’m missing Match something fierce, but I know it’s good to miss each other sometimes. I’m hoping piglet sleeps better tonight, and maybe the weather cools off a bit!
