My Parents Visit and Family Photos

I haven’t forgotten about you dear readers. My parents came down from Oregon for a visit last week, and we are prepping the house to host Thanksgiving this year! I’m so excited to host, but coming off of a week long visit with family, I’m questioning the timing.

Here are some highlights from our week of fun with Gamma and PopPop. Piglet had so much fun visiting with them. He has a special connection with my mom, and he lights up when she is nearby.

We spent one day in Old Town Sacramento, checking out the sights.

Piglet was a champ during lunch and allowed us to eat while he played in his high chair. He has a new fascination with cups, and after we ate he insisted that Daddy share his water.

My Pops took care of some of my honey do list items, including a dog door, fixing the gates in our yard, and installing a baby gate upstairs. Piglet is going to be crawling before we know it, and I’m glad we are a step ahead on the baby proofing.

We met up with Match’s parents for lunch and some family pictures. Piglet was a trooper, considering these were taken during nap time!

It was a great visit and it was over too quickly. I wish my parents lived closer! It was so nice having the extra hands, and for Piglet to get all of that quality bonding time with his grandparents. I can’t wait for our next visit!

love that your parents were able to come and visit with you all. everyone looks so happy in the pictures 🙂

It looks like you had such a great time with your parents and so glad they came to visit you 🙂 Piglet keeps getting cuter by the day!

I adore Piglets smile! Such a happy baby boy!
