-5 Months pregnant! Hurray! I cannot believe how big this belly has grown. I say that every update don’t I? Well, today I actually had a stranger comment on my belly while I was waiting for my progesterone shot, and asked if I was carrying a girl. I can’t blame her-I think my belly is starting to get bigger up top. And down low. Well, pretty much everywhere. The kicker is I’m only halfway done baking this lil Piggy. I’m a little scared to think of what my full term pregnant belly is going to look like! I think the look on my face says it all:

-The highlight of the week was of course the ultrasound Monday. The second highlight was getting Piglet’s baby shower invitations in the mail that I had ordered. I’m SOOOO excited about them. I will share them with you when the shower gets closer. I’ll give you a hint-there are owls.

-I just picked up wooden letters to hang over Piglet’s crib. I am so happy that we’ve settled on a name, and it allows us to connect to him that much more. Now the challenge will be not calling him that around our friends and family. We want to have the name as a surprise for when we announce his birth, since everyone already knows his gender.

-The nesting instinct has been stronger and stronger. I’ve always been into home projects and organizing, but this week I’ve been in high gear. I’ve already attacked the garage and our front room. I really am loving this second trimester energy! I better take advantage of it while it lasts!
