Rodger Bailey: Don’t be such a grumpy old Scrooge!
Ben Harper: For your information, Scrooge was very much the misunderstood hero of that book. Until the end where Dickens copped out and made him nice.
Rodger Bailey: You’re like this every year.
Ben Harper: I believe in tradition. -My Family

Oh no! Christmas with no tree or decorations?! That would disappoint me like crazy!! I don’t blame you for being upset if she’s refusing to come to your place instead. πŸ™

That’s so exciting that you’re feeling Piglet flutter already and that you get to see him or her on Thursday! Yay!!

Stand your ground on this one, if you cave this year next you’ll have a little one in tow. It’s time everyone started coming to you!

There’s nothing like feeling your baby is there? I remember like it was yesterday!

Thanks for linking up with us!

We made the decision to have Christmas at our house when we had kids–traveling with them is no fun. We now do Christmas breakfast at our house so the grands can get their kid fix and then we get the rest of the day to do whatever.
Those flutters are fun, but the alien look of seeing the baby move always sort of weirded Nick out when I was pregnant.

I agree stand your ground on having Christmas at your house.
I love the feeling of baby moving around, best feeling ever!

Wait your MIL doesn’t decorate at all?? And yes that would not seem like Christmas.

stand your ground. if you want to host xmas. then you should host it. i agree. it’s not xmas without all of the fun decorations!

No decorations? What’s that all about? You must explain! Go this year and then never again once you have the baby. You will get points for taking the high road this year and have an iron clad excuse for the rest of your life.

The flutters are the best! I loved that. I loved whenever they moved. πŸ™‚

I hope you had fun last night! I love Christmas so much and it’s definitely not the same without the tree or lights. Boooo MIL.

I hope MIL changes her mind and realizes that it’s a lot to make you travel this year. Plus, you rock at the decorations, sooo…
