Roz: Frasier, why didn’t you tell me it was your birthday? I’d have thrown you a birthday party at the station.
Frasier: (through his teeth) Question asked, question answered. –Frasier
Today marks my last year of my 20s. I can’t believe I’m only a year away from 30! I’m actually looking forward to my thirties. It just seems like the last 10 years have flown by.
This week has been one of those awesome weeks where the birthday celebrations are drawn out all week. Tuesday for my official present from Match, he took me to a local tattoo shop and I got my tattoo!! I was really nervous that it would hurt, but it actually wasn’t that bad at all! It was light scratching, and more irritating than painful.
I am so happy with my new tattoo. Match said he’s jealous cause mine has more detail. I love that we have matching tattoos, but they’re not our names or anything like that.
I will not play at tug o’ war.
I’d rather play at hug o’ war.
Where everyone hugs instead of tugs.
Where everyone giggles and rolls on the rug.
Where everyone kisses, and everyone grins.
and everyone cuddles and everyone wins.
Wednesday night we had Walking Couple and Hippy Couple over for dessert and drinks and hung out in the fire circle. I can’t wait to build adirondeck chairs with cushy chair pads for around the fire.
Hippy Chick made me the most amazing drawing based on one of my favorite pictures of me and Match. Isn’t it beautiful?
We had a great night visiting by the fire. I’m looking forward to many nights spent by the fire this Fall and Winter.
Tonight I’m going out with Walking Buddy and Hippy Chick for happy hour. I just want a fun mellow evening with the girls. Today I treated myself to a mini shopping spree where I bought these adorable boots, new top, and jacket. Can you tell I’m wishful thinking for cool weather? Come on Fall-I can’t wait to wear these adorable clothes!!
I’m so looking forward to all the positive things that I hope my 29th year will bring!
