I’m looking forward to the shows that are coming up this Fall. I’m always excited for new shows, and this year has them in spades! One note I wish that the networks would listen to-there is no reason for canned laughter anymore. The one thing to make me stop watching a show before giving it a chance is canned laughter.
Go On-Matthew Perry is in grief group counseling after losing his wife. I love Matthew Perry, and I will gladly support any new show of his. I’m sad that all of his shows haven’t panned out. I personally liked Mr. Sunshine and was sad to see it cancelled.
the new Normal-A gay couple looking to adopt a baby through a surrogate. This is a whole new type of show, and I’m curious to see what it will be all about.
Elementary-The star of Eli Stone (which was a tragic cancellation) is back with Lucy Lu in this remake of the classic duo. I like that they’ve cast Lucy as Watson. It should be an interesting show. I can handle it so long as it’s not too violent. I’m a little sad that he’s faking the accent, but I’m willing to overlook it since I know he’s a good actor.
The Carrie Diaries-I know it’s going to be cheesy, just like Sex and the City. But I still can’t wait to see how they’re going to bring a young Carrie to life. Will they keep the story line of what we know of her past? Will she have an abortion? Will it follow the book instead?
The Mindy Project-Kelly Capoor! I am interested to see what this show will be about. I have a feeling I will laugh a few times.
Next Caller-Dane Cook on tv? I was such a big fan of his original comedy, before he got all arrogant. I’m willing to give this one a shot.
How to Live With Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life-I love Sarah Chalke. She was so great on Scrubs. Her last sitcom was an epic fail, so hopefully this one will have more promise.
