[Dr. Wilson is examining Dr. House’s leg with the MRI]
Dr. Wilson: [gruff disguised voice] House, this is God.
Dr. House: [in MRI chamber] Look, I’m a little busy right now. Not supposed to talk during these things. Got time Thursday?
Dr. Wilson: Let me check. Oh! I got a plague. What about Friday?-House

Today I’m having an MRI. It’s the follow up test to my hysteroscopy, and should hopefully confirm what my OB found, my uterus septum. If the MRI comes back positive, then they’ll schedule my surgery. I’m hoping for sooner rather than later on this surgery business. I’m ready to move forward, and I’m hoping to be all healed up for our trip to Carmel in August.

My doctor gave me a dose of Ativan to take while they perform the MRI. I’m just a wee bit claustrophobic, and I have to be in there for 45 minutes! Eep! Still, I will take enclosed spaces to the pain of that hysteroscopy any day!! I hope the Ativan helps me sleep, and I’m not too bored. What the heck am I supposed to do during that 45 minutes besides lie still? They should give patients kobo ebooks to read while they’re stuck in the machine. Maybe I’ll get a cool tech who will entertain me while I wait.

Walking Buddy has graciously offered to give me a ride and bring me home since the ativan might make me loopy. Such a sweet girl. Wish me luck!

In other news, I’ve revamped my website a little bit, and I have a new button over on the right sidebar. Grab it and you’ll make my day! I definitely do not feel like a “Date Girl” these days, and definitely like an old Married Mrs. Match. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So if you see comments from Mrs. Match, that’s still me! So what do you think of the new look?

Ativan just makes me happy. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Good luck!!

    Love the new look!
Good luck, hope you can get all fixed up in next to no time!

good luck!! i hope everything turns out the way you want it to.

the new look is nice! it keeps it fresh ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck with your MRI, I hope all goes well and that the Ativan does the trick ๐Ÿ˜‰ 45 minutes is wayyy too long to be stuck in there doing nothing!!
Love the new look, Mrs. Match ๐Ÿ™‚

I have always been lucky to have had a tech that likes to chit chat with me when I’ve had tests and other things done. It’s all so stressful and if you have a joke or two thrown in every now and then, it sure does ease the tension.

Oh my goodness good luck with the MRI! I’m a little claustrophobic too so that sounds really scary to me!

    I love the new look!

GOOD LUCK today! Let me know how it goes. I’ll be here, there and everywhere today but I wanna know!

I was all kinds of confused when I first clicked over here. I thought I had missed you saying that you got a new page! I like it! Good job! You’re getting so tech savvy on me! =)

Miss you! Thanks for linking up, Lovie!

Yes, definitely not Date girl anymore. I like the new button and header. I will be praying for you! Hope you get the answer you want.

I’m catching up here today. I’m glad that it looks like you’ll have a definitive answer soon, so they can fix you right up.

I like the new site look A LOT. WordPress is great – isn’t it? Your sidebar is crowding out one of your ads, though. Hope you can get through your MRI okay. I’ve never had one – so I don’t know. I heard it’s pretty scary in there – but never read about anything bad actually happening – so you should be fine.

Good luck with the MRI. Hopefully you’ll fall asleep and get to take a nice nap. Naps are good!

I love the new look and I’m going to take your button right now.

Love the new look and button! Very cute ๐Ÿ™‚ At some point I’m going to try to organize the different buttons of the blogs I read and put them all nice and pretty on a page together. I’ll be sure to include this sweet one!

Thank god you have a sweet friend to bring you home and care for you. I get the same way with claustrophobia. Hope all went well with the MRI!

Your comments make my day!
