Project 52 Update Week 16-Sew Button on Peacoat

Homer: Look Marge, now that I’m a teacher, I sewed patches on my elbows.

Marge: Homer, that’s supposed to be leather patches on a tweed blazer, not the other way around. You’ve ruined a perfectly good jacket.

Homer: Incorrect, Marge. Two perfectly good jackets. –The Simpsons

Guys, I’m getting there. I can’t believe how much stuff I’ve been able to cross off my list. The free time definitely helps. The latest item I crossed off the list was sewing the buttons on my peacoat.

I have to confess I didn’t do these properly. I just took a needle and some thread and sewed the suckers on. We’ll see how long they stay!

Wow! YOu are doing great. It takes me forever (due to procrastination) to sew buttons on.

I think you’re progressing quite nicely. My list is actually growing. Every time I cross something off two more items appear like the Hydra’s heads.

I love that Homer Simpson dialogue. Makes me miss my pea coat.
