Tracy: Orange and black decorations? Is this Halloween, or Princeton Parents’ weekend? I don’t know whether to be scared or proud of my cousin… Kenneth: It’s Halloween, sir. Tracy: Proud it is. –30 Rock
As I sit here pouting because of my decision to not do anything for Halloween this year, I thought I’d participate in The SITS girls Halloween From the Past blog prompt. In the blog prompt they ask for our favorite Halloween, but I think I’ll entertain you with a bunch of old Halloween pictures. It’s a lot more fun to show you guys pictures now that I’ve revealed our faces.
Last year Match was supposed to dress up as Dwight Schrute from The Office and I was Princess Unicorn. Match dropped the ball and instead went as a “Jackass” because he didn’t come up with a costume in time, Ha!
His shirt said tickets to the gun show and his nametag says Jack. He spent the night being kind of rude to people. It was a joke of a costume, but it did get a few laughs. I really miss that beard, it’s sexy.
I was Princess Unicorn and I looked awful. I think part of it was the dark hair, part that I had gained a lot of weight that year.
Monkey outdid us all with his adorable Squirrel costume.
Halloween 2008 was by far my favorite. It was my first year dressing up in a “Couple Costume.” How cute is Match in his little bowties and rabbit hat?
Alice in Wonderland
and her reluctant White Rabbit
Going back even further, here are some college Halloween pics
Yeah, I can’t believe I went out like that either… I remember thinking I looked chubby. I really really want to get that body back. This was me as an Evil Tinkerbell in 2006, when I was 23. My metabolism was amazing then because I ate nothing but junk food and alcohol. Ah, college.
Aren’t those curls adorable? They lasted all of an hour. This was hands down my best costume, but using the little girls room was a challenge. Not always a good idea on such a drunky holiday. 😉
There you have it, a Halloween trip down memory lane. What are some of your favorite costumes? Are you doing anything exciting for Halloween weekend or are you being a homebody like me?
