Wordless Wednesday-Let Them Eat Cake

Here’s a few ideas I found for the wedding cake. What’s your favorite, or do you have pictures of fall wedding cakes you would like to share with me?

i LOVE coral/mango/peach colors, so I am in LOVE with the 2nd cake…I saw it on theknot.com and FELL IN LOVE! the 1st one of gorgeous too!

I can not take the pretty takes. Scrum diddly umptious for sure. Oh my goodness : )

Those are all so beautiful! Makes me want to get married again!

I love them all…especially the third one down! You don’t see enough very geometric cakes like that. For fall, I might switch out those flowers though.

I also love the texture on the last one.

Yay you guys picked my favorites. I think I may go with the third one but use the flowers from the second cake. I love mango colored lilies! To me the color just looks “fallish”. That is the word I use to describe my colors to florists. Aren’t I helpful? Um…make it fallish and stuff. I’m their worst nightmare!

They are all gorgeous but the traditionalist in me likes the second one best.

What great cakes!

My wedding cake was a three tier square, entirely white, with white icing dots, and a fondant bow on the top (no cake topper). It looked like a present! The caterer did it as part of our package, and I had no idea it would turn out that nice. We didn’t really care about the cake so we just gave the caterer free rein, and we loved the way it turned out!

The 2nd and 3rd ones would’ve matched my colors exactly! We were peachy and gray. They are all simply beautiful!

#1 and #4 make me tingly inside.

I like #1 and #4. Because I suspect there is chocolate hiding somewhere!

I love the last one. Traditional, tasteful but with that individual touch too! That said they are all such great cakes…any one would be perfect.
