I can’t believe how fast January has gone by. It’s almost February, which means both Match’s birthday and Valentine’s Day are coming up. With Match still being out of work, any sort of gift giving event has become a sore subject. I want to do something nice for him, but I also don’t want him to feel guilty. Match and I had our first really hard discussion as an engaged couple this past week. You remember I told you Match got a new job right before our trip to Oregon? Well, they told him he had to get his gaming license to become a security guard/emt at the casino he was hired at. That meant an extensive background check. They said it would be about 3 weeks to complete, and here it is well over 3 weeks and still no start date. Match has become really anxious being stuck at home all the time, and more and more depressed and worried about money. More

Dorothy! I’ve just been speaking to that good looking reporter over there who just got back from Russia, and he told me some very interesting things. It snows there in the summertime, and they don’t have many attractive women – do you realize what that means? Match said I better pick a good one or you guys are going to be disappointed, hehe. I still won’t be using our real names, so hopefully the anonymity stays intact. I think I’ll wait until the professional wedding photos come out. But…if the engagement photos are good maybe I’ll cave and do the unveiling then. We’ll just have to see. This week has been pretty boring so far. I think part of that is because all I want to do is go home to my fiance and snuggle. It’s pouring down rain here and it makes me want to curl up with a good movie and burrow into Match’s arms.
