I believe that the moon does not exist. I believe that vampires are the world’s greatest golfers but their curse is they never get a chance to prove it. I believe that there are 31 letters in the white alphabet. Wait…what was the question? -Tracy, 30 Rock
As some of my readers might know, Match and I have a couple friend that we hang out with every once in awhile, LAX guy and Baker Chic. They’re nice, but Baker Chic has always been really quiet and hard to get to know. We had fun hanging out with them a few weekends back at Match’s parents house, but it was a group thing, and BC and I didn’t really talk much. Friday night We invited them over to our apartment for the first time, and Baker and I finally got a chance to just sit and girl talk. It felt like we finally clicked as friends, and for once conversation was easy.
We decided to have an “appetizer party” where all we ate were little finger food snacks. It’s kind of my favorite type of meal. LAX and one of his friends sat int he living room with Match watching the baseball game. They were having a great time being men and randomly yelling at the TV. Baker and I had one of those girl moments where we talked about everything from when we want to have kids to the type of birth control we use. I love how girls have that ability to talk about the most random things! Baker is in really good shape, and she loves working out, so she’s motivated me to kick it up a notch. We made plans to check out the indoor climbing center in town. I think it’ll be a great way to stay in shape, and hopefully get to know her a little better. Since Match and LAX are such good friends (they went to college and high school together) I’m hoping we can all hang out more. Maybe LAX will share some of his golf training aids and take Match golfing. He could use a guy’s day like that while us girls go indoor climbing. I’m looking forward to starting up climbing. If I’m any good, maybe it’ll become a new hobby and I’ll finally get my figure back. Cross your fingers!
