June’s SPT challenge is to find our way back. We’re supposed to tackle one thing on our to do list each week that has been keeping us from blogging. I love this because I love crossing items off my to do list. So for this week,
tuesday, june 9 meal-planning/preparations or other organized family time
it couldn’t have been more perfect. Last weekend Match and I spent quality time with my family, including my mother, who I haven’t seen in almost a year. I enjoyed every minute of it, and it made me appreciate those sit down dinners we always had growing up. This is a picture of my grandma (Pomma in our family) making her yummy and oh so healthy ice cream punch. 
As soon as Match and I got home, we did the same thing with his parents; sat down to dinner and regaled the funny stories of our trip up North. Match’s parents also got a hammock, to go with their incredibly relaxing pool and hot tub (as if it wasn’t relaxing enough!). So while Match helped his dad cook, I took the hammock for a test drive. 
It was also a time for us finding our way back to each other, and realizing just how in love we are. Match couldn’t stop hugging me and telling me how happy he was to be a part of my family. Which explains why he jumped into the hammock and tangling his legs around me like a spider monkey! We’re just lucky the hammock didn’t tip over.

I so want a hammock. I’m jealous. We almost bought one but they are a bit pricey. Perhaps they’ll go on sale in the fall. ?? We shall see. Lovely photos. Miss you two!
