Match gets the afternoon off today, and I’m excited, and nervous at the same time. His sister comes home from Ireland, and today will be the first time we meet. I just really hope she likes me, because her and Match are super close. She’s also fairly intimidating-she speaks 4 languages, and she’s traveled all over the world. I, on the other hand, can barely speak Spanish, and have never been outside the continental US.
I’m just going to be myself and see how it goes. From what I’ve gathered from Match and his mom, we actually may have a lot in common. We’re both goofballs for starters. We’ve become friends on facebook, but we haven’t really talked. I just sent her a message that I can’t wait to hear embarrassing stories about Match, and she said she has plenty to tell. I’ve never had a sister, and I would love to become close to her, especially if we become sister in laws one day.
So wish me luck, it should be an eventful afternoon! I just hope I don’t say or do something ridiculous to embarrass myself!

Aw, I’m sure it will go fine. Meeting the family is always a little nerve racking, but unless the possible future in-laws are crazy, I think you’ll be fine.

I think The Boys family mostly think i’m a bit posh because I once asked if the eggs they had were free range… now I get teased about it a lot!
