I Would Choose You Everytime

I’m crazy about you, and I want you to know that if I had the choice of hanging out with anyone in the entire world or just sitting home with you, eating a pizza, watching a crappy tv show… I would choose you everytime. -JD, Scrubs

Match just got the best news! His Fire Academy Saturday morning class was canceled, and he doesn’t have to be there till noon! That means for the first time since Labor Day weekend, we get to sleep in. It means we get to do whatever we want tonight, and we don’t have to go to bed early. He IMed me rather sheepishly asking if we could watch the presidential debates. I told him there was nothing I wanted to do more than curl up in our PJs and watch TV. I’m pretty amped about this election, but even if he said he wanted to stay home and watch reruns of Step By Step I’d be excited.

It’s crazy how much a person can mean to you after only a few months together. Last night Match told me he couldn’t believe how comfortable and easy it was living with me. He said that it felt so natural waking up with me every morning, and how happy he was that we decided to move in together. I had a ridiculous conversation with Mama Drama on IM about how I can picture us as old people buying incontinence products together. I know, super gross! But seriously, I can see us in it for the long haul. I’m talking depends and false teeth old. 😉

So here I am at work, counting down the minutes until 4pm, when I can go home. I can’t wait to curl up on the couch with Match and our pets. Call it a dull Friday night if you want, but there is no where else I’d rather be.

My hubby and I have been curled up the past two days together. I thought we were going to start meshing with the couch so we finally went out for a brisk walk yesterday evening. It’s a wonderful feeling, isn’t it? “Couples Hibernation” as How I Met Your Mother once put it.

Hope you both had an amazing time together. I can’t wait to hear how late you slept in. You’re idea of ‘sleeping in’ probably means 9 a.m. ha!

I just realized after I clicked ‘submit’ that I used the wrong ‘you’re’. It should be ‘your’. Please forgive me. I never wanted to be one of those people….but it’s frickin’ early and I was up late.

That’s great!!! Can’t wait till I can find someone again that I can’t wait to sit on the couch and watch TV with… as it is I just sad and watched TV on my couch alone last night 🙁

Your life sounds similar to mine. I even wrote a blog entry about how we have morphed into that boring married (unmarried) couple. But honestly I love it. Coming from a former party girl, I couldn’t be happier. Glad you found someone you can share this with. I’m glad I have too! 🙂
