He’s Just Not That Into You comes out in February! I’m excited, because I read and loved this book a few years ago. The cast is all star, including Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore to name a few. I think for all of my avid readers, and for any single ladies, or ladies dating a guy that doesn’t seem to be that sprung on them, this is THE movie to see. I can’t wait to blog about how it is, and to see what you guys thought of it as well.
Before meeting Match, I was still skeptical of the book. While I did think there were some very valid points, I thought surely my (insert flavor of the month’s name here) is different. Of course, inevitably I’d come to realize that in fact, flavor of the month really was, just not that into me. We always know it, deep down, yet we try to ignore the facts. I even blogged about Potential Guy being not that into me months back, and even after my blog, I went back to him for a little bit. Why do we do these things to ourselves ladies?
So now, being with Match, I’m realizing just how true all of that is. When a guy is into you, you know it. There is absolutely no question about it.

This weekend I will be going out of town for business. Actually, my work is hooking us all up with rooms at the embassy suites in beautiful Lake Tahoe! I’m so excited-I haven’t been up there since I was a little girl. The only bummer is that Match won’t be able to go, even though I was allowed a guest. He has fire academy all weekend, and midterms. So I will be stuck in a fancy hotel room and won’t get to truly take advantage of it.

Match just got the best news! His Fire Academy Saturday morning class was canceled, and he doesn’t have to be there till noon! That means for the first time since Labor Day weekend, we get to sleep in. It means we get to do whatever we want tonight, and we don’t have to go to bed early. He IMed me rather sheepishly asking if we could watch the presidential debates. I told him there was nothing I wanted to do more than curl up in our PJs and watch TV. I’m pretty amped about this election, but even if he said he wanted to stay home and watch reruns of Step By Step I’d be excited.
It’s crazy how much a person can mean to you after only a few months together. Last night Match told me he couldn’t believe how comfortable and easy it was living with me. He said that it felt so natural waking up with me every morning, and how happy he was that we decided to move in together. I had a ridiculous conversation with Mama Drama on IM about how I can picture us as old people buying incontinence products together. I know, super gross! But seriously, I can see us in it for the long haul. I’m talking depends and false teeth old. 
So here I am at work, counting down the minutes until 4pm, when I can go home. I can’t wait to curl up on the couch with Match and our pets. Call it a dull Friday night if you want, but there is no where else I’d rather be.

I’m worried about Match’s health. This new schedule is taking its toll on his body. He’s been tired, cranky, all the things that are not my Match Guy. He woke up this morning a complete wreck. He was so deliriously tired that he stood up, and then practically fell asleep standing up. I nudged him and he looked at me bewildered. I told him to come back to bed and he just collapsed into my arms. Poor guy! I will be so relieved when he is done with fire academy and actually has a day off.
With all his working and stressing out, I’m worried about him, so I’ve been checking into the healthcare products offered by Johnson and Johnson. I’m amazed by the variety of products they offer. 
Everything from pain relievers to soap and the more well known lotions. I didn’t even realize that Johnson and Johnson made Tylenol. With the way poor Match has been feeling, so sore after working out at academy, lifting heavy ladders while wearing all his gear, I just might have to stock up on their pain relievers!

The leaves are changing, the wind is getting chilly, and we’re getting close to my favorite season, fall. Match and I stayed up late last night talking costume ideas, even though we’ve yet to receive any Halloween invitations . I love that we’re going to have couple costumes, something I’ve never done but always wanted to do. It got me thinking back to the last Halloween I spent with a boyfriend, way back in September of 2005. It was memorable because that was when I was dating Cheater Guy, and he made sure it was a night I wouldn’t soon forget.
